Let’s be real: life can be a wild ride. Between juggling family, career, and everything else, it’s easy to feel like you’re spinning a dozen plates while trying not to drop your sanity. Overwhelming? Absolutely. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to do it alone.
Therapy with me is about connection. I know that the therapist-client relationship is everything. I believe that you need to feel safe, seen, and heard to enable real change. My job is to create a space where you can show up as your real, messy, wonderful self—whether we’re unpacking big challenges, tackling burnout, or figuring out what’s next in your life or career.
I work with people who are deep in the thick of it—professionals and entrepreneurs navigating high-pressure careers, midlifers rethinking priorities, and older adults stepping boldly into new chapters. I also work with couples who want to rekindle connection, navigate tough patches, or simply communicate better (because, let’s face it, relationships can be messy too).
With humor, heart, and over 20 years of real-world experience as an entrepreneur and leader, I get what it’s like to feel pulled in a million directions. And I know therapy can help you untangle the chaos. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method, we’ll work together to tackle what’s holding you back and build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentically you.
Morgan Donovan, MC, CCC
Counselling therapist and co-founder of Ever Therapy, my background is in fine art and psychology, both of which I see as ways of making meaning in the world. After several years spent travelling the world and teaching high school, I realized that my most meaningful connections happened when others felt safe and understood. Hoping to have a more personal impact, I returned to school to complete a master’s degree in clinical counselling.
I know that the circumstances of being human can be overwhelming and painful, and it can be easy to feel disconnected from yourself or uncertain about a way forward. And yet, I believe we are meant for meaning and fulfillment, whatever that looks like for each of us. Having the right therapist—someone who listens with empathy, understands human behaviour, and meets you without judgment—can be a powerful catalyst for change. I work with clients who want to understand how their experiences and learned adaptions shape their present—helping them cultivate insight, self-compassion, and a sense of agency within the larger systems we all navigate. I believe therapy should honour the complexity of who you are. Together, we can make sense of the patterns that have guided you, explore what’s working and what’s not, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
I have experience working in residential addiction treatment, leading anxiety support groups following an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and self-compassion model, and supporting individuals from teens to older adults in one-on-one therapy. I am trauma-informed and integrative in my approach, leaning primarily on existential, intersectional, narrative, and internal family systems therapies.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect and see how we can work together.
